Women's Crew Fares Well at Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple Women's Crew program had a solid showing at the Head of the Schuylkill River Saturday (Oct. 30). The Owls Varsity 8 placed 11th in the Women's Open Heavy Championship Eight while the Second Varsity 8 finished 15th and Varsity 4 placed 30th in their respective races.
“It was our last head race of the season and the team is continuing to work hard and get themselves ready for the spring season,” Temple head coach Tim Hagan said.
The Owls conclude the fall portion of their schedule in two weeks, competing at the Frostbite Regatta (Nov. 13) and the Braxton Regatta (Nov. 14). Both races will be held on the Schuylkill River.
