Olympic medalists highlight the event

PHILADELPHIA - Highlighted by appearances from 2008 Gold Medalist and National Team Coxswain Mary Whipple and 2008 Bronze Medalist and National Team Coxswain Marcus McElhenny, the 8th Annual Temple University Coxswains Clinic, sponsored by Nielsen-Kellerman Co., is set to take place on Saturday, February 5th qt Kiva Auditorium on the campus of Temple University from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Recognized as one of the top coxswains clinics in the Northeast, the event will cover safety, steering, motivation, racing as well as other aspects of the coxswain position. In addition to the clinic, small group sessions with Whipple and McElhenny will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
To register online, go to www.regattacentral.com. The price for the clinic is $85 per person when registered online, while registration at the door is $95. The small group session in the afternoon, featuring Whipple and McElhenny, is $50 a person. In order to register for the afternoon session, one must also be registered for the morning clinic.
