The Duquesne Dukes invade the Liacouras Center Wednesday night (7:00 p.m./OwlAccess) to take on the #17/19 Temple men's basketball team in a rematch of last year's Atlantic 10 Conference Championship game. The Owls won that game, 69-64, to claim their second straight A-10 title.   WATCH LIVE

Temple (18-4, 6-1 in A-10), under the direction of head coach Fran Dunphy, continues to be led by the play of senior guard Ryan Brooks. The Owls co-captain not only tops the team in scoring with a 15.9 average, he also spearheads a defense that leads the A-10 in scoring (56.9 ppg.) and field goal percentage (.377) defense, ranking among the nation's best in both categories.

Sophomore guard Juan Fernandez, still shaking off the after effects of a hard hit at Fordham (1/23), ranks second on the squad in scoring (12.6 ppg.) while topping the Owls in assists (79), steals (23) and three-point shooting (47-109, .431). Junior Lavoy Allen provides Temple with a strong inside presence and is one of three A-10 players averaging a double-double (10.7 ppg./10.0 rpg.).

Senior co-captain Luis Guzman (5.1 ppg.), who earned his marketing degree in 3 1/2 years a week ago, and sophomore forward Micheal Eric (5.1 ppg.) round out the starting five. Sophomore guard Ramone Moore leads a strong bench and ranks fourth on the team with a 5.6 scoring average.

The Dukes (11-10, 2-5), under the direction of head coach Ron Everhart, are coming off a 74-71 win over Saint Joseph's Sunday, their second win in three games. Junior forward Damian Saunders leads the A-10 in rebounding (12.5 ppg.) and blocked shots (3.4 bpg.) while leading a balanced DU offense with a 14.7 scoring average.

DU's other starters, junior forward Bill Clark (13.2 ppg.), sophomore guard Melquan Bolding (12.6 ppg.), sophomore guard B.J. Monteiro (10.8 ppg.) and sophomore guard Eric Evans (10.5 ppg.) all average double figures.

Temple leads the series 38-13, and has won the last three meetings.
