ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Senior Tim Boeni and assistant coach Shameka Marshall each made top 10 finishes at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships, representing Temple track & field this weekend in Albuquerque, N.M.
Both athletes were up against the nation's top competition, including several medal winning Olympic athletes.
Boeni placed eight in the men's long jump finals, recording a distance of 24-05.50. Marshall placed seventh in the women's long jump finals, landing a distance of 20-07.25.
Temple track & field is back in action this weekend, when the qualifiers compete in the ECAC/IC4A Championships, held March 6-7 in Boston, Mass.
