Stangle doesn't lose a game in match
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Temple women's tennis team was in action on Saturday, March 13, in Orlando, Fla., defeating Wheaton (Ill.), 7-0. Wheaton is the 20th-ranked team in Division III.
The Owls did not drop a set to the Thunder in singles play. Theresa Stangl was particularly impressive, defeating her singles opponent, Lindsey Hallett, at number four 6-0, 6-0 and teaming up with May Johnson to defeat Jill Casserly and Sara Federschmidt, 8-0, at the third doubles flight.
TU is 4-6 overall and will play again when it returns home to host Idaho on March 16 at Arthur Ashe Tennis Center at 12:30 p.m.
