Senior boasts a 3.42 cumulative grade point average
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Announced by the league office today, Temple women's track & field standout Brittney McRae has been named a member of the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team, in voting conducted by the conference's sports information directors.
The Bronx, N.Y. native (Cardinal Spellman) maintains a 3.42 cumulative grade point average as a Broadcast, Telecommunications, and Mass Media major. At this season's A-10 Indoor Championships, McRae won the title in the long jump, while also placing fifth in the 55m hurdles.
She was one of 12 members of the Temple women's track & field team to qualify for the ECAC Championships, where she placed 10th in the long jump and led the women's 4x400m relay team to a third place finish.
