Men's Golf Holds Sixth Place After Day One At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, NJ - The Temple men's golf team turned in a strong performance in the first day of competition at the Princeton Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Owls carded a two-round total of 594, placing sixth out of 15 teams and 14 strokes behind first-place Harvard.
Junior Andrew Mason led the Cherry and White with a three over-par 175 (75-70) to place fourth overall in the field of 78 golfers. Freshman Devin Bibeau, who carded a team-best one-under 70 in the first round, was four strokes behind Mason (70-79, 149) and in 23rd place. Juniors Mark Edmondson (77-74, 151) and Joseph Kim (79-72, 151) were tied for 35th while the Owls top golfer on the season, senior Eric Plisko (77-83, 160), was in 70th place.
Competition concludes on Sunday.
