Tonya Cardoza Basketball Camp Dates Set for June

Team Camp, Day Camp and Elite Camp to be held at Temple's main campus

Tonya Cardoza Girls Basketball Camp will be holding three sessions – one for high school teams, one for day campers in grades 3-12 and an elite camp for grades 8-12 – this camp season.
The camps will be held on Temple University's Main Campus in June. The Team Camp will run Saturday and Sunday, June 19-20. The Day Camp is June 21-25, and the Elite Camp will run June 26-27.
The camps offer young players a chance to learn basketball fundamentals in a fun and competitive environment, and to learn the game from Temple's coaching staff and players. The camps feature daily drills and skill stations, team competition in a 5-on-5 setting and games and contests for all skill levels.
Cardoza recently completed her second season as Head Coach of the women's basketball team at Temple, taking the Owls to a seventh-straight NCAA Tournament and advancing to the NCAA Second Round. Cardoza, who previously spent 14 years as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut, is now 46-19 in two seasons at Temple.
