Women's Varsity 8 Advances To Murphy Cup Finals

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's Varsity 8 placed second in its heat to Navy to qualify for the finals of the Murphy Cup.  The Owls finished sixth in the finals held on the Schuylkill River Saturday afternoon.

The Varsity 8 consisted of Erin Buchanan (cox), Mary Webster (stroke), Allison Boc (7-seat), Taylor Wasserleben (6-seat), Bailey Chick (5-seat), Jeanine Lees (4-seat), Joanna Sutor (3-seat), Nicole Wagner (2-seat) and Brynn Moore (bow).

Temple next competes at the Knecht Cup on the Schuylkill River on April 10.
