Men's Golf in Ninth Place at A-10 Championships After Day Two

Andrew Mason leads Owls and tied for 13th
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL - The Temple golf team dropped two spots to ninth place after the second round of play at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship held at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla. As a team, Temple shot a 320 on the day for a combined 631 total. Junior Andrew Mason carded a three-over 74 to lead the Owls and his two-day total of 150 is good for a tie for 13th place. Four-time defending champion Charlotte (569) leads second place Richmond (582) by 13 strokes.
Junior Mark Edmondson, who tied for third after the first round, struggled Saturday, shooting an 11 over-par 82. He sits tied for 23rd on the leader board. Redshirt freshman Devin Bibeau (81-81=162) was tied for 41st while junior Joseph Kim (84-83-167) was tied for 49th overall. Senior Eric Plisko (94-91=185) was in 58th place.
Three-time All-America Corey Nagy of Charlotte leads the field with a four under-par 138.
The Championship concludes with third-round play Sunday morning.
