Taylor wins long jump, meets ECAC qualifying standards
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Christiana Taylor led the Temple women's track & field team with an event winning and ECAC qualifying performance in the long jump at the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet, held Monday evening at Swarthmore College.
Taylor leaped 6.06m to take first in the event, meeting ECAC marks.
Sophmore Andrea Butler competed in the 100m and 200m dashes, placing second (12.61) and fourth (25.65) respectively. Freshman Dia Dorsey ran alongside Butler in the 100m, placing third in a time of 12.82.
The Owls' ECAC qualifiers will compete this weekend, May 14-16, at Princeton University.
