Temple & Villanova to kick off at 5 p.m. on Sept. 3
PHILADELPHIA – Temple and Villanova will kick off the 2010 football season in the second annual Mayor's Cup at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m.
The Owls, under fifth-year head coach Al Golden, return 56 lettermen, including 16 starters, from the 2009 squad that finished 9-4 overall and 7-1 in the Mid-American Conference en route to an appearance in the EagleBank Bowl.
