Women's Crew Invites Walk-Ons
8.25.10 | Women's Rowing
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University Women's Crew team invites walk-ons to try out for its 2010-11 squad. No Experience Necessary!! Interested athletes should attend the informational meeting to be held on Thursday September 2, 2010 at 5 pm in McGonigle Hall - East Bleachers.
”Every year a large percentage of our team is comprised of student- athletes who have never taken a stroke prior to college,” Temple women's crew coach Tim Hagan said. “This fall, we will teach walk-ons the techniques involved in our sport, and increase their strength and endurance to prepare them to compete.
We are looking for individuals with a desire to learn, the determination to push themselves beyond perceived limits, and the willingness to give 100% to meet the goals of the team. You will challenge yourself, work harder than ever, AND have fun doing it.”
