Owls boast a 3.09 combined grade point average

NEW ORLEANS – Announced by the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association, the Temple women's track & field team was one of 151 institutions recognized as a Division I All-Academic Team. The Owls boast a combined 3.09 grade point average, and are one of eight programs from the Atlantic 10 to earn the distinction.

Under the direction of reigning Atlantic 10 women's outdoor head coach of the year Eric Mobley, the Owls made their mark in 2010 winning the program's first ever Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship. Four individual titles and two relay gold medals highlighted the meet, as well as then-freshman Victoria Gocht earning Rookie of the Year honors.
