BRONX, N.Y. - Senior Jess Antosz led the Owls with 10 kills, but an energized Fordham squad (10-8, 2-0 A-10) handed the Temple women's volleyball team (2-13, 0-2 A-10) their second conference loss in straight sets, 3-0. Antosz was supplied by 30 assist from junior Rikia Trischuk.
The Owls kept things tight all night, but Fordham continued to find a way to win. Temple went down in the first set 25-21, second set 25-17, and third set 25-23. The Rams were led by 15 kills from Kailee May.
Temple returns home for four straight home matches, three of them conference contests. The Owls begin their homestand hosting city-rival La Salle on September 29 at noon.
