Volleyball Faces La Salle at Home on Wednesday at Noon; Match Will be Tape Delayed

PHILADELPHIA - For the first time since late August, the Temple volleyball team returns home to McGonigle Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 29 in a 12:00 p.m. match against A-10 and city rival La Salle. Temple faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the free match on their lunch hour.
Due to technical difficulties, the match, originally scheduled to air live, will be streamed on the internet on tape delay later this evening. Fans unable to attend can subscribe to OwlAccess to view the event. The webcast will be free for this match, but in the future subscribers will have to pay for the service.
Temple (2-13) has already defeated La Salle, 3-0, in a match on Sept. 4 of this season. The Explorers are currently 4-14 overall. Both teams are looking for their first conference win after going 0-2 to start A-10 play this past weekend.
The match is the beginning of a four-match homestand for the Owls. Three home contests are on the slate for next week, starting with a Tuesday night (Oct. 5) match against non-conference foe Long Island.
