Sophomore Luv Sodha takes second at fourth singles flight
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sophomore Luv Sodha came up just short of claiming the title at the fourth singles flight as the Temple men's tennis team competed at the Saint Joseph's Fall Invitational on September 24-26, 2010. Sodha posted a 3-1 record, falling to Robby Kay of Delaware, 6-3, 6-4 in the championship tilt.
Classmate Kacper Rams won his first two matches at the number two singles flight, before falling to eventual champion Joseph Adewumi of UMBC in a super tie-breaker, 6-2, 0-6, 9-11.
In doubles action, Sodha and junior Kurt Mauro opened the weekend with an 8-6 win over Lafayette's Sinan Ipeker and Matt Shapiro at the second doubles flight. The duo then squared off against the eventual champion team of Ryan Kent and Kay of Delaware, falling 8-4.
