Volleyball Will Head to City Rival La Salle on Thursday Night

Owls take on Explorers in their only match this week
PHILADELPHIA - In its only match this week, the Temple volleyball team will be looking for an Atlantic 10 win at city rival La Salle on Thursday night, Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m. The Owls (5-12, 1-3) will face the Explorers (5-16, 1-3) for the second of three times this season after already earning a 3-1 win in the first meeting back in early September.

Temple is coming off a 1-1 weekend that saw the Owls sweep Rhode Island but lose 3-1 to Fordham. Senior Collin Wallace recorded double-doubles in both matches, with 16 kills along with 12 digs vs. Rhode Island, and 17 kills to go with 15 digs vs. Fordham.
La Salle's week was much like Temple's, as the Explorers defeated Rhode Island, 3-2, but lost 3-0 to Fordham. La Salle also recorded a 3-2 win vs. Rider last week.
Temple will play two more A-10 road matches next week at Saint Louis and Duquense before returning home on Oct. 21 against George Washington.
