Women's Crew's Kara Jackson Named SAAASC Student-Athlete of the Month

PHILADELPHIA - Kara Jackson, a senior Philadelphia native and graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, has been named the Student-Athlete Academic Advising & Support Center (SAAASC) Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of October. Jackson has been an active member of the women's rowing team since spring 2009.
Majoring in kinesiology, Jackson has been an exceptional student since her arrival at Temple, earning a 3.78 cumulative GPA, while demonstrating excellence on the river. Aside from her outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and with her teammates on the rowing team, Jackson also serves as a tutor for her fellow student-athletes in the Student-Athlete Academic Advising & Support Center.
