Owls' junior won the all-around at Towson last weekend
PHILADELPHIA - Temple junior women's gymnast Corrine Williams has been named ECAC Women's Gymnast of the Week, announced the conference today. Williams had a stellar weekend at the Sherri Calloway Memorial Invitational hosted by Towson, winning the all-around and placing second on two events.
The Newark, Del., native tied two of her career highs and earned second place on uneven bars (9.750) and balance beam (9.750). She also posted a third place finish on floor with a score of 9.800, helping the Owls place third overall with a season-best tying score of 191.600.
Up next for the Owls is a trip to the Maryland Invitational on February 27.
