PHILADELPHIA -
Making a return to the national rankings this week, #24/rv Temple puts its 18-game home win streak on the line Wednesday in a showdown with Fordham at the Liacouras Center (7:00 p.m./OwlAccess). It will be a green scene in the stands as the first 1,000 Wild Cherry members will receive a Green t-shirt as part of Temple's “Green Out” to officially kick off RecycleMania.

The Owls, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Fran Dunphy, improved to 17-5 overall, 7-2 in Atlantic 10 play with their fourth-straight win, an 80-67 decision over Rhode Island last Saturday.

Junior Ramone Moore (14.2 ppg.) continues to pace a balanced offensive attack that includes three double-figure scorers. Junior Scootie Randall (11.4 ppg.), the reining A-10 and Big 5 Player of the Week,  has been on fire as of late. Exploding for 27 points in the Owls' win over Rhode Island, Randall is averaging 20.0 ppg. over the team's last five outings. Senior Lavoy Allen (10.8 ppg.) joins the pair as double-digit scorers and leads the team in rebounding (6.7 rpg.).

Junior Juan Fernandez (9.7 ppg.) has made two-straight starts after being sidelined with a bruised left knee and leads the team in assists (3.8 apg.). Sophomore Khalif Wyatt (9.4 ppg.) took advantage of
increased playing time due to Fernandez's injury, and has averaged 14.8 points over the last nine games.

Fordham, under the direction of first-year head coach Tom Pecora, is in the midst of an 11-game losing skid. The Rams, who impressively topped Big East foe St. John's during non-conference play, are still
in search of their first A-10 win of the year. Sophomore forward Chris Gaston heads the scoring efforts for Fordham, averaging a double-double with 15.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

The Owls have won the last two meetings and own a 36-13 all-time record against Fordham.
