Support Temple Men’s and Women’s Basketball on Selection Sunday and Monday

All fans and media welcome; both shows will be held in the Fox-Gittis Room at the Liacouras Center

PHILADELPHIA – Come support the Temple men's and women's basketball teams as they await placement and seeding in their respective 2011 NCAA Tournaments. The spirit squad and pep band will be on hand both days in the Fox-Gittis Room at the Liacouras Center, with the men's party set for 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, and the women's party set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14.

Both parties are open to the public and to the media. The men's selection show on Sunday begins at 6:00 p.m. on CBS, while the women's show begins at 7:00 p.m. Monday on ESPN.

The Temple men (24-6) are playing for a fourth straight Atlantic 10 Championship this weekend in Atlantic City, and will begin their title defense at 6:30 p.m. on Friday against city rival La Salle.

On the women's side, the Owls (23-8) recently suffered an A-10 semifinal loss to Dayton, but are near locks for a postseason berth after a strong season that included a 15-game win streak.
