Golf Opens Season at Furman Intercollegiate

3.18.11 | Men's Golf

GREENVILLE, SC - The Temple golf team opened its spring schedule at the Furman Intercollegiate Friday.  The Owls struggled in the opening round of the three-day tournament, placing 22nd of 22 teams with a 30 over-par total of 318.

Connor McNicholas led the Owls with a five over-par 77 to tie for 63rd.  Andrew Mason was one stroke back and tied for 77th while Devin Bibeau (81), Steve Burak (82) and Joe Kim (85) rounded out the Cherry and White squad.

Competition continues on Saturday.
