Iwugo Paces Women's Track & Field Through Day One Of Colonial Relays

Owls' freshman takes second in 400m, fifth in 200m
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Freshman Ambrosia Iwugo posted a fifth place finish in the 200m and followed that performance with a second place finish in the 400m to highlight action on day one of the Colonial Relays, hosted by William & Mary. Iwugo was not alone, however, as senior Paris Williams finished on her heels in the 400m.
Iwugo turned in a near ECAC qualifying time of 25.10 in the 200m to take fifth. In the 400m, she cruised to a second place finish in her heat and in the event with a time of 56.23. Williams came in third in the 400m with a time 56.43.
The Owls remain in Williamsburg tomorrow for the final day of competition in the Colonial Relays.
