COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Junior Kaity Watson turned in a solid 9.775 on vault to take third place at the USAG Championships, held Sunday afternoon at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Watson was one of three Owls competing in the event finals at the USAG Championships.
Watson tied for third on vault, and was a mere .012 off of the second place finisher. Junior Alexandra Uscatu also competed on vault, placing 12th with a score of 9.312. Junior Corrine Williams placed eighth on uneven bars as the only other competitor in the event finals for the Owls, scoring 9.550 on the aparatus.
