Owls' junior throws season-best in shot put

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Junior Alanna Owens went 44-10.25 in the shot put and placed second in the event to highlight action for the Temple women's track & field team at the Rutgers Invitational, held Saturday in New Brunswick, N.J.  Junior Ebony Moore also fared well in the discus, placing second with a toss of 132-0.
