Owls tied for sixth with scores affected by high winds

PURCHASE, NY - On a miserable weather day that featured high winds, sophomore Devin Bibeau tied for the lead at The Century Intercollegiate with a six over-par 77 at the Century Country Club Saturday afternoon. Bibeau led the Owls, who finished the first day of competition tied for sixth place in the eight-team field at the event hosted by Yale.

Freshman Connor McNicholas was second for Temple and tied for 22nd overall with an 84. Senior Andrew Mason was one shot back and tied for 26th with an 85. Freshmen Steve Burak and Russell Hartung rounded out the Owls squad, tied for 37th with 88s.

Harvard led the field with a 319 with host Yale in second at 324. Temple was 15 strokes off the leader with a 334 score.
