PURCHASE, NY - Sophomore Devin Bibeau continued his solid play, carding a 77 for the second straight day to place third at The Century Intercollegiate with a 12 over-par 154 at the Century Country Club Sunday afternoon. Senior Andrew Mason recorded the best round of the day by any of the 45 golfers, shooting a one-over 72 to finish in seventh place with a 157. The duo helped Temple move up to a fourth-place finish in the eight-team event hosted by Yale.
Freshman Connor McNicholas was third for Temple and tied for 19th overall with a 162 (84-78). Freshmen Russell Hartung (88-79, 167) placed 31st while senior Mark Edmonson (90-80, 170) and freshman Steve Burak (88-84, 172) rounded out the Owls squad in 37th and 38th place, respectively.
Harvard won the event with a score of 628 with the Crimson's Seiji Liu the overall medalist(77-75, 152). George Washington placed second (629) followed by Yale (634), Temple (640), Princeton (646), Brown (658), Cornell (661) and Yale II (665).
Temple next tees off at the Rhody Invitational April 22-23.
