Owls' 4x4 qualifies for finals
PRINCETON, N.J. - The 4x400m relay team qualified for Sunday's finals to highlight action for the TEmple women's track & field team at the ECAC Championships on Saturday. The Owls will be in action today, finishing competition in search of individual titles.
The women's 4x400m relay team - freshman Ambrosia Iwugo, senior Paris Williams, senior Assata Cowart and senior Tashima Stephens - ran a qualifying time of 3:43.00 to place eighth and earn a spot in the finals.
Stephens placed 15th in the 800m run with a time of 2:10.07. In the 400m hurdles prelims, Cowart missed qualifying for the finals by .30 seconds, running a time of 1:00.91 to place ninth.
The Owls remain in action as the ECAC Championships come to a close today, Sunday, May 15.
