Volleyball Will Face Rider at Home Tonight - 1,000 Penn State Tickets Will Be Given to Temple Students

PHILADELPHIA - Attention students: Did you miss your first chance for a FREE Temple-Penn State student ticket? Now is your second chance! Temple students can get their FREE Temple-Penn State football ticket at the conclusion of tonight's volleyball game between the Owls and the Rider Broncs. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m. at McGonigle Hall.
Tickets will be given out to 1,000 students on a first-come, first serve basis. You must have a Temple student ID to claim a ticket, one ticket per student.
Temple is coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Big 5 Tournament in which senior Collin Wallace earned All-Tournament Team honors. The Owls (2-3) have never lost to Rider (2-4), with an 8-0 record against the Broncs all-time including a 3-0 sweep on the road a year ago. The Owls have wins so far against Stony Brook and La Salle, and had a strong showing against Penn that ended in a 3-1 loss.
The Owls will play in two more non-conference weekend tournaments following Tuesday's match, and will begin Atlantic 10 play at Xavier on Sept. 23.
