PHILADELPHIA -
The Temple men's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the Liacouras Center to host Atlantic 10 Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 rival La Salle Wednesday night (7:00 p.m./OwlAccess/1210 AM WPHT).  The game, which is not the designated city-series contest, is the second half of a doubleheader with the Temple women hosting Duquesne at 4:00 p.m.

The Owls (11-5, 1-2 A10), under the direction of sixth-year head coach Fran Dunphy, will be looking to rebound from a 76-65 loss at Richmond.  Junior guard Khalif Wyatt, who has averaged 23.5 points per game over the last four contests, continues to be red-hot.  Now third in the A10 with a 16.7 scoring average, Wyatt has led the Owls in scoring in each of the last four games and a team-leading eight overall.

Senior guard Ramone Moore still paces the Cherry and White with a 17.0 scoring average, good for second in the conference.  Senior guard Juan Fernandez (11.4 ppg.) also averages double figures while leading the squad in three-pointers (35) and assists (65).  Junior forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (9.6 ppg.) and redshirt freshman Anthony Lee (5.7 ppg., 7.1 rpg.) round out the starting five.

Sophomore Aaron Brown, who has scored in double figures five times, continues to be an offensive spark off the bench (7.6 ppg.) while redshirt junior T.J. DiLeo (2.9 ppg.) and freshman Will Cummings (2.7 ppg.) round out the eight-man rotation.

La Salle, under the direction of eighth-year head coach Dr. John Giannini, has won 11 of its last 13 games, including six straight prior to Saturday's loss at Dayton.  Junior Ramon Galloway, a transfer from South Carolina, continues to lead the team in scoring (15.0 ppg.). Senior Earl Pettis (14.7 ppg.), sophomore Tyreek Duren (13.5 ppg.) and sophomore Sam Mills (12.3 ppg.) also average double figures while freshman Jerrell Wright (7.8 ppg., 6.4 rpg.) rounds out the Explorers starters.

Temple leads the series, 70-40, and has won the last five meetings.
