Join Men's Soccer in Supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Team in Training"

PHILADELPHIA -Temple Men's Soccer has launched its latest community service/outreach project and are asking for your help in the mission.
Dan Zajac, a coach at FC Delco and a former soccer player at Drexel University is raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Owls are poised to spread the word and support his mission.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's “Team in Training,” is a non-profit health organization dedicated entirely to finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, while working to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
The need is critical, an estimated 1,012,533 people living in the United States are living with, or are in remission from one of these diseases.
Approximately every four minutes someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer and it's estimated that every 10 minutes someone else dies.
In hopes of generating a substantial contribution, Zajac is training for the New York City Ironman. The race is on August 11th 2012, and consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run.
Join Zajac and the Temple men's soccer team in making a pledge to this cause and help them reach their goal by January 31, 2012.
Donations can be made by completing the "Make a Donation" box on the right side of the page listed below.
