Victoria Macaulay Named Big 5 Women's Basketball Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Big 5 honored Victoria Macaulay of Temple with the Big 5 Women's Basketball Player of the Week award on Dec. 17.
Macaulay, a senior center shot 8-of-11 from the floor en route to a game-high 18 points in a setback at Auburn. She grabbed six rebounds, blocked three shots, and had three steals while playing all 40 minutes.
The senior is having a breakout season for Temple, leading all players in the A-10 in field-goal percentage at 56.5 and ranking fourth in the league in both scoring (16.8 ppg) and rebounding (9.7 rpg). She has notched five double-doubles in Temple's nine games so far.
