Temple Athletics Releases Free iPhone App

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University Athletics is announcing the official release of its new iPhone app. Fans with iOS operating systems on their smartphones will now have access to all the latest news about the Owls.
“We are excited to offer this mobile application for the iPhone,” said Scott Walcoff, Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Sales. “Coupled with our already existing application for the Android, it's another opportunity to promote Temple Athletics to our many fans, while making it as convenient as possible for them to interactively follow our teams.”
Features of the app include:
- Reading and sharing the latest headlines from all sports
- Getting to know the athletes by viewing team rosters
- Viewing the team schedules so you know when and where to watch the games
- Seeing what Temple Athletics coaches are saying on Twitter and re-tweet
- Seeing what fans are tweeting about Temple Athletics and join in on the conversation using Fan Buzz
- Scrolling through the latest photo galleries from Temple Athletics
