Dubrow Sets New School Record in 1 Mile Run at Armory Collegiate Challenge

NEW YORK, N.Y. - 
On Thursday, members of the Temple women's track and field squad took part at the Armory Colleigate Challenge in hopes of boosting their qualifications for next weekend's ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Continuing to put her name atop of event bests in the Temple record books, freshman Jenna Dubrow broke another school record, as she elapsed the 1 mile run in a first place time of 5:00.38 to shatter the record (5:01.50) set by Nancy Deneka 30 years ago (1982).

Also competing on the women's side in the event with a strong performance was Isatta Kenneh with her second place finsih in the 60 meter dash. Kenneh crossed the finish line in 7.71.

Temple's ECAC qualifiers will head to the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. next weekend (March 3-4) for the ECAC Championships.
