Rams and Rams win at number one doubles

PRINCETON, N.J. - In the first of two matches against Ivy League foes this weekend, the Temple men's tennis team was dealt a 7-0 loss at Princeton on Friday evening in Jadwin Gym.
It was the first meeting since 2003 in a series Princeton now leads 22-0 over the Owls.
The brothers' tandem of Filip and Kacper Rams picked up a win at number one doubles, upsetting the #24 duo of Matt Siow and Matt Spindler 9-8(2), but the Tigers won the final two matches to claim the first point. The host team took all six singles matches, including five in straight sets. Temple's Mansur Gishkaev pushed Dan Davies to a third set at fifth singles, but Davies won the deciding frame played in a tiebreaker format.
Temple will head to Cornell for a 7 p.m. match tomorrow.
