Owls' Lightweight 8 boat ranked 10th by USRowing
PHILADELPHIA – Temple University's women's rowing lightweight varsity 8, fresh off a silver medal finish at the 30th Memorial Murphy Cup, became the first Owl boat to garner a national ranking by USRowing, placing 10th in the poll released on March 28.

The lightweight varsity 8+ boat comprised of Ellie Oken (coxswain), Laura Turner (stroke), Gina Inverso (seat-7) Kate Taylor (seat-6), Lauren Kidd (seat-5), Kelsey Joniec (seat-4), Sarah Jennings (seat-3), Caroline Slusarcyzk (seat-2), Mary Kate Logue (seat-1) placed third at the 30th Memorial Murphy Cup with a time of 8:28.
