Softball Cancels Doubleheaders with Central Connecticut and Villanova

TU and CCSU were scheduled to play May 1; Owls and Wildcats cancel May 2 games
PHILADELPHIA – Temple softball's doubleheaders against Central Connecticut and Villanova have been canceled. The pair of twinbills were the final remaining non-conference games the team had on the ledger.
The games at CCSU were scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, while the games against the Wildcats would have been Wednesday, May 2 at Ambler Field.
With the cancellations, the Owls have just four games remaining in the regular-season. TU hosts Saint Louis in a pair of Atlantic 10 games this weekend on Friday and Saturday. The squad stays home for its final doubleheader of the season against St. Bonaventure on May 6.
Temple is 24-19 overall and 9-5 in league play.
