Women's T&F Competes In Day Two Of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - The 118th Penn Relays continued Friday at Franklin Field, as the Temple women's track and field team took part in two events. In the sprint medley relay, featuring Crystal Hercules, Kiersten LaRoche, Briana Alverez and Shanel Golding, the Owls completed the race in 4:08.56 to take 30th place overall.
Earlier in the day, the Owls placed 23rd in the 4x200 meter relay, as Isatta Kenneh, Dia Dorsey, Andrea Butler and Hercules combined to finish the event in 1:40.45.
The Owls will get back to the track at the University of Pennsylvania to close out competition in the nation's oldest and largest meet on Saturday. Events they will take part in are the 4x200 and 4x400 ECAC qualifiers and the 4x800 Championship of America.
