Golf Remains in 10th Place at A10 Championship

CORAL SPRINGS, FL — Temple men's golf remains in 10th place after the second day of competition at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship which is being held at the par 72, 7, 055 yard Heron Golf Club.
Freshman Paul Carbone leads the Owls, and is tied for 31st overall with a five over-par 149 (73-76). Sophomore Matthew Crescenzo had the best round for the Owls on Saturday, a two-over 74, and he is tied for 36th with a 150 (76-74). Junior Devin Bibeau and sophomore Russell Hartung are four shots back with 154s (tied 44th) while freshman Mike Amole rounded out the Temple five with a 165.
George Washington leads the 11-team field with a 568. Charlotte and Xavier are tied for second, two strokes back with 570s. Richmond (575) is next followed by Rhode Island (580), Dayton (582), La Salle (588), Fordham (595), Saint Joseph's (602) Temple (607) and St. Bonaventure (608).
Charlotte's Raoul Menard leads the field with a six-under 138 (70-68). GW's Andres is one stroke back (72-67, 139).
