Golf Places 10th at A10 Championships as Final Round Cancelled

Results
CORAL SPRINGS, FL - The final round of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship was washed out by heavy rains and lightening Sunday morning. The results after the first two rounds become final so Temple men's golf finished in 10th place while George Washington wins its first Atlantic 10 Conference Championship. The Championships was held at the par 72, 7,055 yard Heron Golf Club.
Freshman Paul Carbone led the Owls and tied for 31st overall with a five over-par 149 (73-76). Sophomore Matthew Crescenzo tied for 36th with a 150 (76-74). Junior Devin Bibeau and sophomore Russell Hartung were four shots back with 154s (tied 44th) while freshman Mike Amole rounded out the Temple five with a 165.
George Washington led the 11-team field with a 568. Charlotte and Xavier are tied for second, two strokes back with 570s. Richmond (575) is next followed by Rhode Island (580), Dayton (582), La Salle (588), Fordham (595), Saint Joseph's (602) Temple (607) and St. Bonaventure (608).
Charlotte's Raoul Menard won both A10 Rookie of the Year and Medalist honors with a six-under 138 (70-68).
