Britton's Penn Relays Shot Put Mark Earns Her A-10 Rookie of the Week Again

Freshman throws competitor earns third Rookie of the Week honor this season

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Freshman throws competitor Margo Britton broke the school's shot put record again and hasonce again been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, making it the third time this season that she has been included on the conference's list of weekly honors.

On Thursday, Britton continued her recent hot streak at the 118th Penn Relays as she shattered the Temple school record for the longest mark in the shot put for the second time this season. Breaking her own record in the event with a mark of 15.7, which she set back on April 7.

Britton and the Owls head to Amherst, Mass. this weekend to compete for the A-10 Outdoor Championship.
