Three Owl Boats Compete in Final Day at Dad Vail Regatta

PHILADELPHIA- Women's rowing wrapped up competition at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on Saturday with a fourth-place finish in the second finals of the Varsity 8+.
The Owls' Varsity 8+, comprised of Ellie Oken (coxswain), Gina Inverso (stroke), Allison Boc (seat-7), Taylor Wasserleben (seat-6), Joanna Sutor (seat-5), Jeanine Lees (seat-4), Kara Jackson (seat-3), Claudia Loeber (seat-2), and Paige O' Sullivan (bow), placed fourth with a time of 6.59
The Cherry and White Varsity 4+, comprised of Erin Matz (coxswain), Laura Turner (stroke), Angela Flinn (seat-3), Rikia Trischuk (seat-2) and Susan Coyne (bow), placed third in the semifinals with a time of 7.39.
The Owls' Freshman/Novice 4+, comprised of Katie Cardwell (coxswain), Allison Watkins (stroke), Caroline Slusarczyk (seat-3), Annie Buckley (seat-2) and Mary Kathleen Logue (bow), placed sixth in the semifinals with a time of 8.03
The Owls now await an invitation to the NCAA Championships.
