Britton and Wilson Qualify For NCAA East Region Preliminary

PHILADELPHIA – On Thursday afternoon it was announced that junior Jade Wilson and freshman Margo Britton will represent the Temple women's track and field outdoor squad at the 2012 NCAA East Region Preliminary May 24-26 in Greensboro, N.C. on the campus of North Carolina A&T.
Wilson will compete in the 400 meter hurdles after having a third place finish at the ECAC Championships with her mark of 59.90 meters.
Britton, the school record-holder and Atlantic 10 Champion in the shot put, will take part in the event in the NCAA preliminaries. The York, Pa. native will also compete in the discus throw for a chance to advance to the NCAA Championships at Drake University June 6-9.
