Jackson, Sutor Named to Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women's Rowing Team

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University senior Kara Jackson and junior Joanna Sutor have been selected to the nine-member Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women's Rowing Team. The team is voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Jackson, a native of Philadelphia (Archbishop Ryan), helped the Varsity 8 place fourth at the Atlantic 10 Championships while rowing from the three-seat. The kinesiology major also compiled an impressive 3.80 grade point average in the classroom.
Sutor, a junior nursing major from Northfield, NJ (Mainland Regional), compiled a 3.79 cumulative grade point average while earning second team all-Atlantic 10 Conference as a member of TU's varsity 8.
