Representatives from BIG EAST Conference schools UCF, Cincinnati, Connecticut, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, Navy, San Diego State, USF, SMU, Temple and Tulane released the following statement following their Jan. 11 meeting in Dallas, Texas.
“The BIG EAST presidents and athletic directors had a very productive meeting discussing current issues and the future of our strong conference. We are energized about moving forward. Although we cannot comment specifically about some of our challenges, this meeting confirmed our common vision for the future."
