Women's Soccer Falls to Louisville at Home 3-1

AMBLER, PA - American Athletic Conference leader Louisville scored three first half goals then held off Temple in taking a 3-1 decision at the Ambler Soccer Complex Thursday Afternoon. The loss dropped the Owls record to 6-8-1, 1-5-0.
Freshman Elaine Byerley had the lone goal for the Owls (6-8-1, 1-5-0 AAC), her second of the year, while sophomore goalkeeper Shauni Kerkhoff made eight saves in goal. Louisville improves to 10-4-1, 6-1-0.
Up next for the Owls is Senior Day on Sunday with a game against Cincinnati at 1:00 p.m. The game will also be the annual cancer awareness game for the Owls. The Bearcatsare 7-8-1, 3-2-1
