Fourth-Seeded Temple Will Face Fifth-Seeded USF in American Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Quarterfinals

PHILADELPHIA – With the 1-0 victory against Cincinnati on Saturday, Temple men's soccer has finished fourth in the American Athletic Conference and will serve as host in the quarterfinals of the conference championships.  The Owls will host the fifth seed USF (6-3-8, 2-2-4) at 1:00 on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Ambler Sports Complex.
The 2013 American Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship will culminate in Frisco, Texas at Toyota Stadium, for the semifinals and title game of the tournament. The semifinals will be held on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. , and both games will be streamed on TheAmerican.org. The title game is set for Nov. 17 at 2:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN3.

Temple tied USF 1-1 this season on Oct. 12. The game was played at Penn Park due to inclement weather forcing the game to be moved. Chas Wilson scored a game tying goal in the first half to allow the Owls to get the tie.
