PHILADELPHIA – Temple's men's tennis team was back in action for the first time in over a week, and the defending Atlantic 10 champion #50 George Washington team took advantage with a 7-0 decision over the Owls at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center on Saturday, March 2. TU falls to 2-5 with the loss, while the Colonials improve to 5-4.

The visitors took a lead early with the win at doubles. GW picked up wins at the first and second flights to take the 1-0 advantage into singles play.

It did not take long for George Washington to wrap up the victory, earning straight-set wins in all seven singles bouts.

Temple will hit the road with little rest for a 10 a.m. match at Lehigh on Sunday.
