PHILADELPHIA - The final non-conference game of the season will take Temple lacrosse to nearby Delaware for a 5:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday, March 27. The Owls will return to the Philadelphia area for their first Atlantic 10 game at Saint Joseph's on Friday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m.

The two upcoming games are the fifth and sixth of a six-game road swing for Temple. The Owls started the season strong at 4-0 but have hit a rough stretch as of late, dropping three of the last four games including two straight. Only twice this year has Temple scored less than 10 goals, and most recently the Owls put up just five in an 8-5 loss at Hofstra on March 21.

The Owls' offense is one of the most balanced in the A-10, with five players already scoring 13 or more goals. Jaymie Tabor has 16 goals to lead Temple, while Charlotte Swavola and Rachel Schwaab each have 14. Kellee Pace and Stephany Parcell have scored 13 goals apiece, with Parcell leading the team in points thanks to eight assists. In addition to those five players, 11 others have also scored for Temple, including seven of those having scored at least twice.

Temple has done well on the draw, currently ranking second among all teams in the A-10 with 12.62 draw controls per game. Swavola is far and away the leader in that area with 26 draws this season. She has also recorded a team-high 18 ground balls.

Defensively, Kara Stroup is the leader with 11 caused turnovers, while Swavola has eight and Tabor has seven. Meghan Clothier has started all eight games in goal for Temple, and is averaging 4.50 saves per game.

With 87 career draw controls, Swavola is now just one away from tying for 10th all-time in Temple program history. Right on her heels is Parcell with 84 draws, just four away from tying for 10th.

Delaware comes into Wednesday's game with an identical record of 5-3. The Blue Hens have won two in a row, including a 10-9 win against #11 Loyola and a 19-7 win at Lafayette. Temple narrowly leads the all-time series against Delaware, 13-12, and won last year's meeting at home by a score of 11-9.
